1. A preliminary finding

After finding a good fishing position, bait first according to the target fish, and use the bait time to adjust the drift. First hang a larger lead sheet on the lower hook to find the bottom. There may be a layer of slurry at the bottom. The bottom hook is used to find the bottom accurately, so that the float can reveal 1 eye, and the fishing point is the center and the radius is 15 cm. In the circle, try several times before and after, to fully grasp the underwater situation of the fishing spot.

2. Preliminary settings

After the rough adjustment has found the bottom, move the buoy down 15 cm, be sure to exceed the predetermined adjustment length, trim the lead sheet until the adjustment is 4.

3. Find the bottom accurately

This step is very important in the drift adjustment process. Remember not to pull up the float first, and rub the bait with a single bait to see if the bait ball can just submerge the float into the water, preferably flat water. This bait is the "base bait" that is the size of the bait ball after finding the bottom. Remember the size of the bait ball at this time.

After finding the "basic bait", move the buoy up 15 cm and hook the bait down to find the bottom. I let the buoy show 4 eyes. After finding it, hook the "basic bait" and throw it out to see how much the buoy shows.

Assuming that 2 meshes are shown at this time, we can know that the distance between the upper and lower hooks is about 2 meshes in the buoy's display, and these 2 meshes are the basis for us to judge whether the upper hook is off the bottom. If I start fishing at this time, the bait must be less than or equal to the weight of the base bait, and some fine-tuning must be made. Because if the bottom slurry layer is thick, the fishing eye must change. If the float is stable and the fishing eye is greater than 4 meshes, it means that there is a slurry layer at the bottom. We need to move the buoy down to adjust the fishing eye to 4 meshes.

At this time, the lower hook must touch the bottom and the upper hook is floating. We can control the degree of the upper hook from the bottom by adjusting the size of the upper hook bait. If the fishing eye is less than 4 meshes, it means that the bottom layer is thin. As long as the fishing eye is between 2 and 4 meshes, the upper bait must be off the bottom and the lower bait is bottoming. However, it is almost impossible to catch fish with less than 2 goals. Fishing friends should have noticed that what we said above is based on "there is always a bait bottoming out". Because I firmly believe in the principle that fishing must first start from the bottom, and then change the fishing eye up and down according to the fish situation to adapt to the changes in the fish mouth.

4. Precisely adjust the fishing eye to find the mouth

If the fish mouth is uncertain, we can make certain adjustments to adapt. The first thing to note is that hand food is fixed! If you change the hand food, you must re-calibrate. If there is no fish in the mouth, I personally think it is the fishing spirit. The method and size of the bait remains unchanged. We only need to move the buoy up to find the mouth of the fish. After finding the mouth, hang it on the hook. "Basic bait" throws the rod to see the difference between the fishing eye and the fishing eye just now. If the fishing eye becomes smaller, it means that the hook is suspended. Remember this number. It will be hooked in the next fishing process. Whether it is floating or touching, you have a good basis. If the fishing line remains the same, it means that both hooks are bottoming.
